MAUREEN WILLIAMS, ND

Dr. Williams completed a bachelor of science in bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania in 1986. She spent four years working with the urban homeless before returning to school. She earned her doctorate in naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University, a four-year, federally-accredited naturopathic medical school in Seattle in 1995. She lectures extensively to both professional and lay audiences on topics including cancer, heart disease, menopause, anxiety and depression and is an author and researcher for HealthNotes.com, an on-line database of scientific information about natural medicine. She has a continued commitment to the underserved, volunteering in free clinics both locally and internationally. Dr. Williams is licensed to practice naturopathic medicine in Vermont and has been practicing in the Upper Valley since 1996.
